DR. KATE DELLA BONA
Dr. Kate Della Bona grew up in the south bay area riding horses competitively, and attended UC Davis for her undergraduate education. After obtaining a degree in Animal Science she taught and rode professionally at a show stable for 3 years prior to heading abroad for veterinary school at the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
After returning from Scotland, Kate completed a one year internship in emergency, medicine and surgery at the VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego, CA. She started her first associate position at a busy general practice outside of Denver, CO but she missed California and moved back in 2021.
Since returning to California Kate has been working as an associate veterinarian in Marin County. Her clinical interests include preventative care and veterinary dentistry. Her goal is for her patients to live long and happy lives and to promote owner understanding and involvement in every aspect of their pet’s care.
Kate lives in Petaluma with her husband and their miniature dachshund Ronan. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses, hiking, traveling, and of course pampering Ronan!
Dr. Kally Watson
Dr. Kally Watson’s love for working with animals started from a young age, as she grew up in San Anselmo alongside many furry family members including dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, fish, and horses. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she moved to Scotland to pursue her veterinary education internationally and graduated with honors from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
Dr. Watson now lives in San Rafael, where she likes to spend time with her family, beach days with her dog, Rowan, and caring for her retired childhood pony, Kokomo. She and her fiance feel incredibly lucky to return to Marin after many years away to continue their lives in the same place they were both born and raised. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Watson spends her time practicing music, gardening, and painting.
